Superhero of the Vacation World?
Posted by Tracy Zdelar on February 5, 2010
I was invited to check out this vacation rental company’s commercial about their own Superhero, Unitard. Which got me thinking… I’ve never had the pleasure of using a “vacation rental” and we rarely take “vacations”. Not because we don’t want to, but because there’s just never enough money to go around for necessities- you have to be choosy what you do on credit…just sayin’.
The year that President Bush sent just about everyone one (or was it two) stimulus checks (2008) we decided to take a RARE family trip to Myrtle Beach and so we stayed at the Sea Mist Resort (family of 4, one room, about 7 stories up). That’s probably as close to a vacation-rental we’ve experienced as a family. But I’m getting off the subject…back to Unitard. Here, you can see the video yourself.
Okay so I thought it was a bit cheesy (though I do appreciate the company making me aware of their resources). But I get the point, Unitard is out to save travelers from having a less than ideal vacation by educating them through this vacation rental commercial (click that link to leave your own comments on it) on the benefits of using a vacation rental over a hotel or motel. Having been the recipient of both a nice hotel and not-so-nice motel experiences I know I would like to try the proposed alternative myself. So, what do you think of Mr. Unitard- Superhero of the Vacation World? Do you think he’s a keeper?
Disclosure: Though I am compensated for my time and work composing this post, the opinions I’ve shared are my own and I would truly (and plan to soon
) check out VacationRentals.org for my own potential vacation dreaming planning (I hope) . I am occasionally offered compensation for some posts I write but I also refuse some assignments due to their content. If this were one of those moments, you would not be “hearing” about VacationRentals.org from me
