Chick Tracts have been a favorite of mine going back to my childhood- as if I need to tell you that after reading the title of this post. While doing some online searching for something else I just happened to come across the Chick website and happened to see that they now offer some of their tracts in digital format  to use on blogs, Myspace, Friendster and forums…and who knows what else they’ll fit on.  Expect to see them on this blog!

I usually point online friends to The Good Test (update: link removed as it appears to be no longer owned) by Way of the Master – and I still plan to do that, but I love having the option to share a Chick Tract on my blog now. Chick Tracts use cartoon format to share the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ and how a person can know for sure they are going to heaven.

Its a message every living person needs to hear/read because your decision in response to the message of Christ will determine your eternal destination.

Chick Tracts are fun to read and there are SO many of them. They are also available in some other languages. I’m going to look into buying some in Chinese to give out to our waitresses at the Chinese restaurants we eat at occasionally.

[Below is one of the interactive Chick gospel tracts called “The Choice” in cartoon format. You’ll probably have to click to the blog to see it and turn pages.] Chick offers about 7 of them in digital format right now. Visit Chick Tracts here to see the digital line up.

All of this bold talk about the  necessity of receiving Christ in order to be saved from hell leads me to ask you this… have I offended you? Does the message of Christ offend you? I only have this to say and I’ll use the Apostle Paul’s words…

“I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barabarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH”. Romans 1:14-17

If we really believe it, we ought to be living it. Its not always easy to be faithful though- I struggle too! So let this post encourage you to not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
