Last weekend we had the good fortune to spend the night with some other blogging families at Castaway Bay’s Indoor Waterpark Resort, and Bryan sent us home with day passes to giveaway to our readers! So while Castaway Bay provided our accommodations and fun, my opinions are my own.
We’ve been to Castaway Bay every year for the past four years for blogging events and even once before I began blogging our family visited. My oldest was 9 months old (he’s 9 years old now!) and Castaway Bay had only been newly opened for a few months. That’s my “baby” crossing the barrels below. He did this more than just about anything else during our visit…over and over and over…
Castaway Bay fun isn’t limited to the waterpark, they offer weekend activities onsite like kids’ crafts which include coloring your own towels, decorating cookies, movie time with Snoopy and face painting.
For eating on site you can grab something simple like donuts at Ebb ‘n Eddy’s or eat a buffet breakfast at Mango Mike’s. TGI Fridays is also connected to the building.
I have videos, reviews and pictures from our other trips you can view to help you decide if Castaway Bay is the place you want to bring your family for some beach fun anytime! You’ll see a variety of aspects of Castaway Bay.
I just have to reminisce while doing this post. My boys have changed so much, especially my oldest in just three fast years. Oh, how fast time goes by and they grow up so much!
Visiting Castaway Bay in 2011, the boys were 6 and 4 at this time.
This video of them playing in the waterpark was taken a year ago in 2013.
