We recently visited Splash Harbor in Bellville, Ohio. This is near Mansfield and Splash Harbor is a small waterpark inside the Comfort Inn. Though Splash Harbor is quite small compared to other waterparks I saw lots of fun being had the weekend we visited. The place was really busy!

Splash Harbor / Comfort Inn Review, Bellville, Ohio

I made special arrangements to be there on the weekend but this review is really meant to spotlight the “day pass” option that is only good for  Sundays-Thursdays.<—-  By the way, at that link you’ll also find info about the various packages they offer. Splash Harbor passes come with overnight room stays also.

Day-passes cost $12.95 per person and can only be used Sundays-Thursday from 10am to 4pm.

Day-pass users must call-ahead to be sure the pool is open on the day of their choice due to a possibility of the pool being too busy.

Splash Harbor has two hot tubs.

Watch my short video below to see some waterpark- fun in action as well as a little footage of the continental breakfast that came from our overnight stay. (See my Comfort Inn review at the end of this post.)

The roof of the waterpark is retractable, which would be great in the summer! I like that they have two hot tubs too. The small hot tub which holds six is located in a great position for parents needing to keep a close eye on young children. The place is very clean and bright and looks great. There are several different types of sit down areas near the water as well.

 Comfort Inn room review

Our room was wonderful. I believe the going rate for this room this particular night was about $140 and waterpark passes come with all rooms. <— Follow that link to find out their special prices/packages.

Our particular room had a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker,  hair dryer and a large tv. The decor, as you see in my pics, was executive looking.
Comfort Inn / Splash Harbor room review.

I thought the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I can ever remember sleeping in and we’ve slept in a few since we do travel reviews so often. There is a huge desk with a lower table that pulls out and a nice office chair as well as a lounging chair with ottoman.

The shower has a sitting ledge along the wall. I can’t ever remember seeing one of those in a hotel bath. There is also a separate light for the shower which makes a nice night light. I highly recommend this Comfort Inn for a comfortable overnight stay!

*Splash Harbor/Comfort Inn provided my family a free night’s stay to review Splash Harbor and are providing the day-passes for giveaway. All opinions are my own.
