I’ve had a desire to start a series where I can just share the things I’ve learned in my almost 40 years of being a Christian.  I’m only 43, but I was about four years old when I asked Jesus Christ to come into my life. Some would scoff that a child that young could understand the gospel, but others have the same testimony as I do. They were very young when they knew they were a sinner and that Jesus Christ paid their sin-debt and they understood they needed to put their trust in Christ for salvation.

So, first let me be clear about what Mentor Mondays is not.

Mentor-Mondays is not about me thinking somehow I have “arrived” to some state of perfection or achievement and that I know everything – No way!

Mentor-Mondays is simply about me wanting to have a spot on my blog every week to share many of the things that I have learned through the years and am still learning. I hope you’ll join me on Mondays, I’ve already got a list of things to share with you 🙂 .

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”  –II Timothy 3:16
