Such a sweet story. And, since it happened here in Ohio and carries more than one strong message that we could all learn from I wanted to share it. I recommend watching the short CBS News clip below, but the short end is that an 8 year old boy who’s father died in the Irag war just weeks after his birth found a $20 bill in a parking lot of a restaurant.

 

Restaurant footage shows each family walking in separately. When the boy noticed the soldier he decided to give the $20 along with a hand-written note to the soldier as a “pay-it-forward” gesture.

 

Afterwards the boy wanted to visit his dad’s graveside. Alone.
