Creating your own unit studies can be as easy or as hard as you want to make it. I choose easy and mostly free. I’m working with my boys on learning about the United States and the five regions it is broken down into. We happen to live in the Midwest which itself is broken down into two smaller regions called the Plains and the Great Lakes. We live in the Great Lakes region.

To see the free resources (plus the 50 cents side lesson on The Great Lakes) that I’m using you’ll have to hop over to the Prime Parents Club to read the rest.Β  If you don’t have time to read it now (its short!) you can always Pin It to your Pinterest board for later πŸ™‚ .

…Read the rest here. (That website has changed hands and myΒ contentΒ is no longer there).
